Desperate Housewives Dolls

Desperate Housewives hand drawn doll

This honestly took me ages. I pixel shaded it all (bar a little help from my friends Dodge, Burn and Noise, who helped out with the hair and jewellery ;) ). I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out, and I love Bree’s (redhead) face. :D
I like the dresses, with the exception of Edie’s (far right), and the hair (excpet perhaps Lynette’s – the other blonde).
The bed was pixelled so I’m quite pleased with that too.
So all round, a big pat on the back to me, from me. :p

Casual Doll on My Base

A new doll on my Laine base.

casual hand drawn doll
It’s made for a banner for my site collective.

I’m really quite proud of it, though I don’t really like the hair. It’s OK, but it doesn’t go with the doll or base – the doll looked better bald. :p
I tried out a new shading technique on the jeans, normally I pixel them then add “noise” to get a denim effect, but I pixelled it all. I might stick to this technique.
I also shaded the shoes differently, I kind of “scribbled” them.

I’m also working on a group doll, which I’m really enjoying making. :D

Welcome to the Revamped Site!

Haha, I’ve updated the site for the first time in over three years. Seriously. Originally I had ugly iframes and was manually updating. No wonder I never bothered. So now UVDolls is back with Wordpress and divs, and is all shiny and new. :D

I have added a new base, Greta, available in four skin tones and three poses. A couple of examples:

And all of my other bases have been re-shaded, and some have been edited/revamped. Some examples of these:

And some new dolls, this being one of my favourites:
