Formal Dolls
All dolls drawn/pixelled/tool-shaded by me in Microsoft Paint, Paint Shop Pro 9, Photoshop 7 or The Gimp.
All bases are credited unless I have forgotten where they have come from, in which case you can contact me if you know (which would be very much appreciated).
Please read and follow the rules. Thanks!

Info: I followed a fold tutorial for this doll. I sort of like the folds, but the middle part of the dress is pretty bad. The hair is OK, but is a terrible colour.
Shading technique: Tool.
I like: The dress folds.
I dislike: The rest of the dress.

Info: I just felt like making a formal doll. I found a picture of a formal dress and dolled it.
I quite like the way it turned out, but the colour blending isn’t so good.

Info: Part of a Valentine’s Day contest entry. That thing coming out of her hand is a necklace. :p I was trying a different shading technique on the folds and, in my opinion, it worked.
Shading technique: Pixel.
I like: The dress, especially the folds, the shoes, and the hair.
I dislike: Nothing.

Info:I love the pink part of this dress. This was another doll that I made copying a picture of a prom dress. I was out of dolling ideas, and I love formal dresses. I think the shading on the dress is great, although the palette I used wasn’t so good, and it’s been eaten by the gif monster.

I like: The pink of the dress, the hair.
I dislike: The colour palettes.

Info: The only thing that ruins this couple (IMO) is the shading on her dress. His hair isn’t so hot either. I like the shape of the dress, especially at the top, but the shading is awful, particularly the body part. I like the girl’s hair, but his is too cartoonish. The guy was going to be wearing a jacket, but I liked the shirt too much.
Shading technique: Pixel.
I like: The shape of the dress, the guys shirt and trousers, the girl’s shoes and hair.
I dislike: The shading of the dress, the guy’s hair.

Info: Man, the hair is crap on this. I tried following a tutorial, but I was new to tool shading, and it was a hair tutorial for a portrait doll. :p The dress is kinda crappy too, that was made following another tutorial. The folds aren’t quite right.
Shading technique: Tool.
I like: Nothing.
I dislike: Everything.
